വിമാനം തകര്‍ന്ന് രണ്ടു പേര്‍ മരിച്ചു

വാഷിങ്ടണ്‍: 2024 ഡിസംബറില്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ വിമാനാപകടങ്ങളുടെ ട്രെന്‍ഡ് പുതുവര്‍ഷത്തിലും തുടരുന്നു. യു.എസില്‍ ചെറുവിമാനം തകര്‍ന്നു വീണ് രണ്ട് പേരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. 18 പേര്‍ക്ക് പരിക്കേറ്റു.

ദക്ഷിണകാലിഫോര്‍ണിയയില്‍ കെട്ടിടത്തില്‍ ഇടിച്ചാണ് വിമാനം തകര്‍ന്നതെന്ന് പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. പരിക്കേറ്റവരില്‍ ചിലരുടെ നില ഗുരുതരമാണെന്നാണ് വിവരം. ഒമ്പത് പേരെയാണ് പരിക്കുകളോട് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. മറ്റുള്ളവരെ അപകടസ്ഥലത്ത് നിന്ന് തന്നെപ്രാഥമിക ചികിത്സ നല്‍കി വിട്ടയച്ചു. കാലിഫോര്‍ണിയയിലെ ഫുള്ളെര്‍ട്ടണിലെ 2300 റെയ്മര്‍ ബ്ളോക്കിലാണ് വിമാനം തകര്‍ന്നു വീണത്.

വിമാനം തകര്‍ന്നു വീണതിന് തുടര്‍ന്ന് സംഭവസ്ഥലത്തിന് അടുത്തുള്ള ചില വെയര്‍ഹൗസുകള്‍ക്ക് തീപിടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

വാനിന്റെ ആര്‍.വി~10 സിംഗിള്‍ എന്‍ജന്‍ വിമാനമാണ് തകര്‍ന്ന് വീണതെന്ന് അധികൃതര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. ഡിസ്നിലാന്‍ഡില്‍ നിന്ന് ആറ് മൈല്‍ അകലെയാണ് വിമാനം തകര്‍ന്നു വീണ സ്ഥലം. ഫുള്‍ട്ടണ്‍ വിമാനത്താവളത്തിന് അടുത്ത് തന്നെയാണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്. ചെറുവിമാനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഇറങ്ങാനുള്ള റണ്‍വേയും ഒരു ഹെലിപാഡും മാത്രമാണ് ഇവിടെയുള്ളത്.
